Enlightened Future of Gwadar

"Gwadar" - a combination of two Baluchi words: guad meaning wind and dar meaning gateway, thus Gwadar stands for "the gateway of wind".

Gwadar is a port district in the southwestern coast of Baluchistan province of Pakistan. Its economy largely depends on fishing. Unfortunately, it is highly neglected for basic necessities such as clean water, health, and hygiene. Thus education being last on the list. Project to transform Gwadar began in 2012 based on research that 4000 kids between 8-15 years of age are out of school. We opened our first school in 2016 in Gotri, Jiwani, and the second one in 2018 in Kohsar, Jiwani. We are slated to establish 10more schools in Gwadar district by 2025.
